A start of the year amid trade fairs, awards and innovation!

The last two months have been a real tour de force for Paesano, full of events, awards and meetings that have confirmed our passion for innovation and quality. From trade fairs to prestigious awards, here is a summary of this exciting period.

February marked by trade fair success

Our journey began in Rimini, with participation in Beer&Food Attraction(16-18 February). This fair turned out to be an extraordinary experience, the best we have participated in so far, thanks to its excellent organisation and the division into thematic areas (beer, spirits, innovation). Paesano had the honour of being present in the 'Innovation' section, a recognition of our constant commitment to research and development.

The Rimini trade fair was a valuable opportunity to introduce our products to a wide public. Many visitors had the opportunity to taste our creations, appreciating their uniqueness and quality. We met numerous buyers and cocktail bars, who were interested in discovering the potential of our liqueurs in the world of mixology.

But the satisfactions did not end there! At Beer&Food Attraction, Paesano received the second prize in the 'Innovative Start-ups and Innovation' category. An accolade that fills us with pride and testifies to our commitment to a pioneering approach in the industry.

Immediately after Rimini, we moved on to Bologna for the Slow Wine Fair(23-25 February). Our tasting stand, located in the 'Amari d'Italia' pavilion, was a great success among the public. It was a pleasure to share our passion and let many enthusiasts taste our products.

A particularly inspiring moment was the meeting with the Drink Factory school in Bologna. We took part in their masterclasses on bitters and mixing, an experience that gave us new ideas and creative insights for the future. In addition, we animated the evenings of 23 and 24 February in two cocktail bars in Bologna, bringing a touch of Sicily to the heart of the city.

March: the Gin Tour and a prestigious award

In March, we participated in the Gin Tour Italy in Bologna (8-9 March), an event entirely dedicated to the world of gin. Our stand was a point of reference for lovers of this distillate, with the preparation of exclusive and delicious recipes based on gin and our liqueurs. The event was a great success, with an excellent response from the public.

But the highlight of this period was undoubtedly the awarding of the Lorenzo Cagnoni Award. This prestigious award, about which you can find more information here was awarded to us for the use of food biotechnology in the production processes of our liqueurs.

We have been awarded for our ability to transform agricultural waste into high quality products, thanks to techniques for processing, separating, peeling, filtering and decanting raw materials. This award confirms Paesano's commitment to sustainability and the enhancement of Sicily's food heritage. We are proud to trace the supply chain of our products, mentioning on the label the precise location of origin of the ingredients, an innovative approach in the liquor sector. Looking to the future: export and catalogue expansion

Participation in these trade fairs has had a significant impact on our business, consolidating foreign markets that now account for an important 70% of our turnover. This success encourages us to focus even more on exports, with the aim of expanding our product catalogue and taking Paesano's excellence all over the world.
